The installation named after Ornette Coleman’s free jazz
album of 1968 blends the urban shapes and rhythms of
New York by means of digital media. Paul D. Miller aka
DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid, pioneer of international DJ
culture, is a conceptual artist, writer and musician living
in New York. Iannis Xenakis, Yoko Ono, Steve Reich, Pierre
Boulez, the Bang on a Can composers and Sonic Youth are
among the many he has worked with.
